Following a review of the current nursery provision on offer at Victor Seymour Infants’ School, the Greenshaw Learning Trust is consulting on the following proposed changes:
1. Closure of the provision for two year olds
The pre-school currently has capacity for 20 places, however due to the lack of demand for the funded places and the financial challenges this creates, the governing body, along with the Greenshaw Learning Trust, is proposing to close the pre-school provision from September 2019, as it is no longer sustainable.
2. Expansion of existing provision for three and four year olds
The school is proposing to open an additional nursery class to meet the demand for places for three and four year olds. Currently, there is a waiting list for places. It is proposed that the school will offer an additional 26 morning places from September 2019.
The consultation period will run until Monday 28 January 2019 and all responses must be received by the date specified.
Responses in regard to the consultation should be sent to: Head of Admissions, The Greenshaw Learning Trust, Grennell Road, Sutton, SM1 3DY. Email: firstname.lastname@example.org
