Julie Loffstadt appointed as Assistant Director for Primary Education

Julie will take up her post at Greenshaw Learning Trust on 1 September 2024.

Julie is an experienced leader, having served as Headteacher in two South London primary schools and as a local authority advisor. She contributed significantly to the creation of a mental health and wellbeing hub and pioneered the peer review group model in Lewisham schools. Julie also participated in the Education Endowment Fund’s Maximising the Impact of Teaching Assistants.

Her commitment to inclusive education led her to sit on Lewisham’s Fair Access Panel and represent the borough on various educational boards where she supported the design of services tailored to the diverse needs of schools.

As a result of our growth, Julie will line manage primary headteachers mainly in the South East, as well as lead a key improvement priority across the Trust.

Liz Easaw, Director of Primary Education, says: “I am thrilled to have Julie join GLT with her depth of experience creating collaboration across groups of schools and supporting leaders with a practical, kind and solutions-focused approach.”
