Jonathan Walters appointed as Headteacher for Tweeddale

Jonathan brings a wealth of experience to his role as Headteacher, with a proven track record of leadership in schools across Wandsworth and Surrey. He helped launch a school in Germany and his current position is a secondment by his trust to support a school on their improvement journey.

During his time on secondment, Ofsted recognised that he, "has worked resolutely to improve the quality of education... and has galvanised team spirit. Staff feel rejuvenated and valued. There is a strong sense of ambition for what can be achieved." Additionally, he boasts a background in diplomacy, having started his career with the Foreign Office. He speaks five languages and has visited over 40 countries.
