Amelie Thompson appointed as Assistant Director of Education – SEND

We are delighted to confirm that Amelie Thompson has been appointed as Greenshaw Learning Trust's Assistant Director of Education – SEND and Special Provision.  Amelie will join the the Trust leadership team on 1 September 2023.

Amelie is currently working as Head of Inclusion at the Gipsy Hill Federation of schools in London. She has extensive leadership experience and is passionate about strong system leadership that challenges and enables all leaders to be leaders of SEND. Amelie has worked in a number of roles to develop school-wide systems that enable inclusive practices for children and young people with SEND and was a lead author on the Department for Education commissioned Whole School SEND Teacher Handbook: SEND.
