New Headteacher for Gloucester Academy

Mrs Phillipa Lewis has been appointed as the new Headteacher for Gloucester Academy from 1 September 2022, following the promotion of the current headteacher, Mr Heap, as Assistant Director of the Greenshaw Learning Trust.  Mrs Lewis is currently Associate Headteacher at Gloucester Academy and has an excellent track record in leading improvements in teaching and learning.  

Lloyd Warren, Chair of Governing Body of Gloucester Academy said: “Mrs Lewis has played a vital part in the improvement of teaching and learning at the school since it joined the Greenshaw Learning Trust. Mrs Lewis will continue the school’s drive to create a learning environment for students to have ambition, drive and the opportunity to succeed.”
