Victor Seymour Infants School decides to join the Greenshaw Learning Trust

Consultations will take place with stakeholders in January.

The Greenshaw Learning Trust is pleased to announce that Victor Seymour Infants School in Carshalton has decided that they want to become an academy and join the Greenshaw Learning Trust.

Mike Cooper, Chair of the Greenshaw Learning Trust said: “We are delighted that another local primary school will be joining our Trust, alongside Green Wrythe Primary that joined last April.

“Victor Seymour is a popular school, rated ‘good’ by Ofsted, that will bring its energy and expertise to contribute to our family of schools.

“This is an important step in the planned development of the Trust, bringing together a community of schools that want to collaborate for the benefit of all their students and staff.”

The Governing Body of Victor Seymour Infants has been considering their options for the long-term future of their school and concluded that in the Greenshaw Learning Trust they have found the right partner to provide further opportunities for their pupils and staff, and to share their knowledge and skills with other schools.

The Greenshaw Learning Trust will be working with the school to set out details of their proposals and to consult with stakeholders in January. Further information will be issued and posted on the Trust website in due course.
